Little Time for Posting when…

you swim all day.

We have been eating well! This is a Q sized portion!

This is Steel Cut Oat Risotto. Q enjoyed it. Gooner LOVED it. I STRONGLY disliked the flavours! Blech!

Your comments were SUPER ENCOURAGING! Thank you so much!

  1. Interesting…oat risotto. I’m not sure I would be able to get on board with that, though the ingredients I can see do look yummy. Are those sweet potates?

Also, I wish I was little and my dad could throw me in the air while we swim. 🙂

  2. Oat risotto sounds delicious!

  3. Swimming all day sounds lovely! Not sure I could eat oat risotto though but I could eat all those mushrooms off it 🙂

  4. Hmmm… I LOVE risotto, but oat risotto does sound a little weird. Risotto is one of those things that can go from elegant and unique and amazing to just plain yucky with no apparent reason. Are those sweet spuds?! I am planning on eating more sweet potatoes this year. I love them. A friend did a guest post on my blog of Sweet Potato soup earlier this year, it was awesome, and totally made me want to become adept at cooking sweet taters and incorporating them into our diet in a good way. 🙂 This whole comment will be rediculously foolish if those are not actually sweet potatoes on your plate up there… HAHAHAHA! Ok, that’s funny. I’ll quit now.

  5. I don’t know about oat risotto. And are those MUSHROOMS?????!!!!!

(Great swim pic!!! Love the action shot!)

  6. Oh girl, I can NOT handle mushrooms, but my hubby loves them.
